5 Day Mystical Tibet Tour D1 Arrival in Chengdu
Upon arrival you will be met by the tour guide and transferred to the hotel. Taste traditional Sichuan hot pot dishes at dinner.


D2 Chengdu / Lhasa
In the early morning, take a flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. It is 3650 meters above sea level. And it has the world's best sunshine and cleanest air. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, have a rest to get accustomed to the high elevation.


D3 Escorted tour in Lhasa
Lhasa has a recorded history of over 1300 years. It is the political, economical, cultural and religious center of Tibet. Full of tourists and Buddhist Pilgrims from all over the world. Profoundly religious. Surprisingly cosmopolitan. You will visit the Potala Palace, recently listed as a world heritage site and it is the largest and best-preserved ancient castle complex in Tibet. It is also the largest monastic university of Tibet. Potala Palace was founded in 1645 during the reign of the Great 5th Dalai Lama. It occupies 130,000 square meters and tours 117 meters into the sky. This is where the Dalailamas lived and worked. and where the ashes of Dalailamas are preserved.


D4 Escorted tour in Lhasa
Visit PAGODAS AND PRAYING TEMPLES: Buddhist relics abound. The interiors adorned with Frescoes. Gifts from ancient Chinese emperors are on display. Tibetan art, Tibetan tradition. These are the places that keep Buddhism alive in the hearts of the Tibetan people.

JOKHANG TEMPLE: The statues of Skyamuni (brought by Princess Wenchen) and the statue of Mejulji (brought by the Princess of Nepal) are worshipped by throngs of believers.

BARKHOR STREET: The marketing street for Tibetan arts and crafts and Buddhist artifacts. In the Old Town of Lhasa.

DREPUNG MONASTERY: The largest monastery of the Geru sect of Lama Buddhism. A grand structure which can hold 7700 monks. Resplendent with Tibetan religious art.

D5 Lhasa / Chengdu
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu with sweet memories of a happy Tibetan tour, then transferred out for your flights home.

D1 Arrival in Chengdu
You will be met by the tour guide and transferred to the hotel.


D2 Chengdu / Lhasa
In the early morning, take a flight to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, have a rest to get accustomed to the high elevation.

D3 Lhasa
Visit the Potala Palace, recently listed as a world heritage site and it is the largest monastic university of Tibet. Potala Palace was founded in 1645 during the reign of the Great 5th Dalai Lama.


D4 Lhasa
Our tour today covers Johkang, the centre cathedral, Barkor Street, the bustling Lhasa market. The market place is filled with Tibetans in their traditional costume and the local handicraft, this will be a pleasure tour for you to explore.


D5 Lhasa / Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse
Driving out of Lhasa, the journey takes you through vastness of the Tibetan Plateau, past the turquoise lake Yamdrok and over Kampala and Karola Passes. Passing 261KM, we arrive at Gyantse at 3950 M. above sea level. Its chief attraction is the impressive Palchoi Pagoda of the Polchoi Monastery Chorten or Kumbum.


D6 Gyantse / Xigatse
Leave Gyantse for Xigatse. This trip is about 90 KM. Along the way, we'll take you to visit Xialu Temple, that is 25 meters away from Xigatse. This temple was built during the Song Dynasty. Unlike other temples, the architectural style is of both Tibetan and Chinese fashion. After this, you can visit Zhashilunbo Monastery, which was built in Ming Dynasty, and there is the biggest bonze Buddha statue inside, it's about 28 meters high.


D7 Xigatse / Sheger
Drive to Sheger, visit Saja Monastery. The Saja religious faction was once the leading faction during Yuan Dynasty. This monastery is filled with the religious and artistic treasures for you to explore.

D8 Sheger / Rongbu Temple / Mt. Everest Camp
Leave Sheger to Mt. Everest Camp, drop by Rongbu Temple on the way.


D9 Mt. Everest / Gyantse
Travel back to Gyantse, then transfer you to the hotel in Gyantse and relax.


D10 Gyantse / Lhasa
Depart Gyantse to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region.


D11 Lhasa / Chengdu
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Chengdu with sweet memories of a Tibetan tour.
