1 Arrive Beijing
Arrive Beijing, China’s capital. You will marvel the
magnificent cosmopolitan even you are not the first time visitor.
Stay in the 4 star Peace Hotel.
Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit the world’s largest plaza -- Tiananmen Square.
The magnificent royal court Forbidden City offers endless
stories to find. Continue your trip to the Temple of Heaven
and Summer Palace, the emblems of the country.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
You guide takes you to the Great Wall. Walking on the Great
Wall is a once in a life time experience. Also visit the Ming
Imperial Tombs. An authentic Peking Duck dinner party tonight.

4 Beijing/Wuhan/Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport to take morning flight to Wuhan, have
some city tour before board the fine cruise ship,M. V. President
I, II, III, M. S. Blue Whale or M. S. Yangtze Angel. Set sail
at 5 p.m. (Different cruise ships have different itineraries.
Description on cruise is just an example).
Day 5 Yangtze River Cruise <Jingzhou > (B, L,
D)
While you are learning Taiji from cruise director in the morning,
your cruise ship is passing through the most fertilized land
of Yangtze in the middle reaches. Arrive Jingzhou at 5pm.
Visit the twin city with modern textile industry and 3000-year
history, Ancient city wall with moat; a large museum with
"Ten World’s Most" exhibits including a male
mummy buried 2,000 years ago. Staying at your outside cabin
or relaxing on the sundeck as you observe the farms and happy
village life moving on. Captain’s welcome banquet.
Day 6 Yangtze River Cruise <Three Gorges Dam >
(B, L, D)
Passing the shiplock at Gezhouba Dam, you are entering the
fabled Yangtze Three Gorges this morning. Disembark at the
constructing Three Gorges Dam site and have a close look at
the world’s largest hydro project. Then reach Badong
for overnight. Xiling Gorge, the first and the longest, featured
with dramatic shoals, verdant cliffs, temples and landmark
rocks.
Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise <Badong > (B, L,
D)
Excursion in a small boat exploring the Shennong Stream: ancient
plank road remains along the river, mysterious ancient Ba
people’s coffins suspended high on the cliff, wild monkeys
running under the primitive bushes and trees…. Continue
to the Wu Gorge. The weathered twelve peaks of Goddess shaped
a deep zigzagging valley and forested mountains.
Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise <Wanxian > (B, L,
D)
Qutang Gorge. Sailing against the rapids rushing through the
5,000 ft high, 300 feet wide passage, you get over the breath-taking
gorges and reach Wanxian. A shore excursion includes visit
to the museum with suspended coffin on display, silk factory
and free market selling everything fresh – an insight
at the local daily life. After the Captains’ Farewell
Banquet, there is a gala party tonight on the ship till next
day morning.
Day
9 Yangtze River Cruise/Chongqing/Kunming (B, L, D)
Your cruiser reaches Chongqing at 9 AM. Disembark the ship
and fly to Kunming, known as "Spring City" because
of its pleasant climate all year around. Meet and transfer
to 4 star Golden Dragon Hotel.
Day 10 Kunming/Dali (B, L, D)
Full day trip to famous Stone Forest for rich format of different
stones. Transfer to the airport for evening flight Kunming/Dali,
check in to Dali Hotel for overnight.
Day 11 Dali/Lijiang (B, L, D)
Morning sightseeing in Dali to the famous Dali Three Pagodas,
Butterfly Spring and Museum, also see Tea-making demonstration.
After lunch, bus transfer to Lijiang. Check in Grand Hotel
Lijiang or same class. Free time to explore the fantastic
old town, which is famous for its old buildings, bridges over
small rivers fed by mountain snow, and colorful local life
of Naxi Nationality with many shops and bars.
Day 12 Lijiang (B, L, D)
Full day trip to visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the Stone
Drum Village and the First Bend of the river.
Day 13 Lijiang/Kunming (B,L,D)
Visit Maoniuping of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Black Dragon
Pool. More free time to wander in the old town before transfer
to the airport for evening flight back to Kunming. Transfer
to Golden Dragon Hotel.
Day 14 Kunming/Guangzhou/Hong Kong (B, L)
Fly from Kunming to Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province
and the southern gate of China, for a rich dim sum luncheon.
Then connect your train to Hong Kong, "the Peal of Orient".
Transfer by shuttle bus to your Marco Polo Hotel or same class.
Tour ends.
