1 Departure from USA for Beijing
On the plane
Day 2 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing in the late afternoon. You will be met at
airport and transferred to Sheraton-Great Wall Hotel. Check
in and dinner at hotel. . 
Day 3 Beijing
A whole day excursion to the Great Wall, Ming Tombs. A genuine
Peking duck dinner in the evening. Hotel accommodation will
be at Sheraton-Great Wall Hotel .
Day 4 Beijing
Day tour to Palace museum and Temple of Heaven. Afternoon
tour to Summer Palace. Acrobatic show in the evening. Stay
at Sheraton-Great Wall Hotel .

5 Beijing/Xi'an
Arrive in Xi'an. You will be met at airport and transferred

Entire Silk Road-Kyrgystan Section Tour - 10 Days
Day 1 Meeting the group on Torugart pass (Chinese-Kyrgyz border)
Transfer to Naryn town. Lunch-picnic on the way. Accommodation
in a guest house or in yurta camp. Dinner
Day 2 Transfer to Karakol along the southern shore of Issyk
Kul lake
This is the pride of the Kyrgyz people. Located 1609 m above
sea level, Issyk Kul is the second largest mountainous lake
in the world (after lake Titikaka). The lake is 180 km long,
60 km wide, and 668 m. deep. The lake is a total of 6,3 thousand
sq. km. Though more than 180 rivers flow into the lake, not
a single river flows out. The lake is located in the Issyk
Kul valley and is surrounded by the Kungei Ala Too and Terskey
Ala Too Mountain ranges.
The territory of the lake used to be a cognate of Usuni tribes.
Therefore, the bottom of the lake is a historical treasure
which is covered with remnants of the ancient towns. After
a storm, which can heighten the waves up to 5 m, people find
thousand-year old pottery on the lake's shore. The lake and
its shores are the ideal spots for recreation, trekking, and
water sports.
Lunch on the way. Picnic in Djety Oguz gorge.
The Alpine health resort Djety-Oguz lies near the river at
an altitude of 2200 m. Situated in a picturesque canyon on
the Northern slope of the Terskey Ala-Too range, this vast
valley is surrounded by snow-capped summits which are the
most beautiful summits in the Northern Tien-Shan area. The
origin of Djety-Oguz is connected with the red rocks that
stand high at the very entrance to the canyon.
Light walking in the gorge. Evening arrival in Karakol. Accommodation
in a hotel.
 Day
3 Transfer to Cholpon Ata town along the northern lake shore
On the way excursion to Prjevalski memorial. The museum, a
branch of the one in Karakol, features a huge map of Przhevalsky`s
explorations in Central asia and a gallery of exhibits on
his life and travels, plus a roll-call of other Imperial Russian
explorers.
A visit to Muslim mosque and Orthodox church.
Arrival in Cholpon Ata. Accommodation. Lunch.
After lunch excursion to area study museum and the museum
of the stone inscriptions located under the open air.
Boat excursion on the lake before dinner.
Day 4 Transfer to Bishkek
On the way rafting (in summer time) along the mountain Chui
river. A visit to Burana Tower historical complex. The tower
is located in Tokmak, 80 km east of Bishkek. The Burana tower
was the site of the Balasagun city. Founded in the middle of
the 10th century on the site of an older settlement, the tower's
minaret (Burana from Turkish munara`- minaret) is one of the
oldest of its kind in Central Asia. The minaret was built in
the 11th century and was originally 45 m. tall.
Lunch in the Kyrgyz family. Lunch will be made in the national
style with seating on the floor and tasting national cuisine.
After lunch we offer country horseback games and races organized
and performed by the local youth. Evening arrival in Bishkek.
Hotel accommodation. Dinner at a restaurant followed by Kyrgyz
National folklore program.
The tourists will be offered to listen to Manaschi- a teller
of one of the longest epics. Afterwards to admire a small
folklore concert accompanied by centuries-old instruments.
Dilia fashion show demonstrates traditional ancient and modern
Kyrgyz costumes, decorated with hand-made and machine embroidery
and performed from the silk, flax, wool as Kyrgyz made it
in the ancient time. Kyrgyz people used the natural furs in
their costumes and they are decorated with furs. Dilia show
has a unique collection of antique ornaments from turquoise.
Traditional costumes reflect the original character of Kyrgyz
people.
Day 5 Sightseeing tour of Bishkek and its surrounding
Morning excursion to Ala Archa Kyrgyz National Nature park.
Kyrgyzstan's national nature park, Ala-Archa, is situated 40
km. South of Bishkek in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountain range at
the altitude of 1600 m. to 4860 m. Total area of the Ala-Archa
is 19,5 thousand sq.km. in 1985 the park was declared a nature
reserve. Ala-Archa is full of wildlife, including eagles, ibex,
Marco Polo sheep, wolf, bear, lynx, boar and also the rarely
seen, but well known leopard.
Light walking in the park followed by lunch-picnic with barbecue.
Afternoon return to Bishkek for city sightseeing with a visit
to Historical museum, museum of Fine arts, galleries. Dinner.
Day 6 Transfer to Suusamyr valley via the mountain
pass Tia Ashuu- 3586 m above see level.
Lunch on the way. Accommodation in the tents.
Day 7 Transfer to Sary Chelek nature
preserve
An area of virgin nature, mountain lakes, forests and alpine
meadows. Accommodation in the tents. Walking in the lake area
Day 8 Half day walking
After lunch transfer to Arslanbob walnut relict forests. Lunch
on the way. Accommodation in the tents. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9 Half day walking in the forest area
After lunch transfer to Osh. On the way a visit to Uzgen minaret.Dinner
and overnight in Osh.
Day 10 Half day trip within Osh
The city of Osh is the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan and
one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. In the 10th century
Osh was the third city in Fergana Valley and therefore an
important point on the Great Silk Road, which led to China,
India and Afghanistan. In the 13th century, Osh was destroyed
during the Mongolian invasion. However, Osh was later rebuilt.
Khan Babur built a small house on the top of the sacred Suleiman
Mountain in the 16th century and admired a nice panorama of
Osh and the mountains. Being famous as Mecca for Muslims,
it attracts thousands of pilgrims.
A visit to Suleiman Sacred mountain
Four-headed Sacred Suleiman Mountain is located in the center
of the Osh city with stone inscriptions which are signs of
the ancient settlement of the Iron Age.Takht-i-Suleiman ("
the throne of Suleiman or Solomon") was the name given
to the mountain when the Muslim prophet Suleiman- Sheikh was
buried at mountain's foot. Because for many centuries the
mountain was known as Mecca for Muslims, it attracted thousands
of pilgrims. Khan Babur built a small house on one of the
tops of the mountain in the 16th century and admired a nice
panorama of Osh and the mountains.
A visit to colorful Oriental market. After lunch, transfer
to Kyrgyz Uzbek border and further to Fergana valley. End
of Kyrgystan section.

embassy in Tehran during their way to Armenia. The documents

supplied beforehand with all the necessary information (i.e.
passport data, the dates of group's stay in Armenia, car types
and numbers, etc.).
